Okay, I just had one of the most spontaneous afternoons ever!
My Sunday began like every other Sunday which was going to church. So after mass, my family decided to go over to an aunt's place all the way in PJ. I wasn't really in the mood to go all the way to PJ so I asked my dad to drop me at Sunway Pyramid and I will take a bus home from there. 1st spontaneous decision.
At Pyramid, I was thinking, "Hmm, it's a Sunday afternoon, and I've got nothing better to do so, why not catch a movie?" 2nd spontaneous decision. But when I checked all the shows were full so I decided to head home.
On the way home, the bus made a stop at Summit. So I thought to myself, "Hey, maybe I could catch a movie here instead!" And so I hopped off the bus and went to Summit. 3rd spontaneous decision.
So I headed to the cinema to check the show times. But sadly there weren't any suitable times. Which made this spontaneous decision pretty stupid. Anyways since there wasn't any suitable show times, I decided to get lunch somewhere. 4th spontaneous decision.
As I was looking for a place to eat, I spotted a DVD shop and for some unknown reason, I decided to go in. Spontaneous decision number 5. I browsed through the DVDs and found that there were quite a number that I wanted. And this happens to be very rare as I'm quite particular about the movies I watch. Mainly because I hate wasting 2 hours of my life on something that I won't enjoy. Well back to the topic, I decided to buy 1 to kill time this afternoon. But since they had that buy 5 free 1 offer I decided to choose 6 DVDs. 6th spontaneous decision.
So I was taking a little longer than an average person would to choose his DVDs. Good thing the seller was such a nice guy. He was willing to sacrifice his lunch break to wait for me to choose my DVDs. Isn't that sweet? Though I don't think he was too happy about it.
When I was done choosing, I headed to the counter to pay. But when I opened my wallet I was like, "Oh Shit!" Turns out that I only had RM10 with me! When the seller dude heard it he looked like he could rip my head off at that very moment! So to save my dear life I decided to buy 1 of the DVDs that I chose, and of all the DVDs I had to choose the stupidest movie, Euro Trip. 7th spontaneous decision.
I left the shop and the fuming seller feeling very apologetic and a little down because after spending RM8 on the DVD, that left me with RM2 which means no lunch for me. So I decided to head home. And this time for real! I wouldn't be able to survive with the RM2 that I had anyway.
I had to do a bit of running as the bus was about to leave when I reached the bus stop but that's really the least of my concerns. Met Sebastian in the bus. Had the privilege to tell him this story and get laughed at. Well I'm back home now feeling hungry, tired and so not in the mood for a movie. What a waste of a Sunday afternoon.

There's still hope!
OH MY GOD. I hear Paramore blasting from the room directly across from mine!
NO FUCKING WAY!
Its one thing to find someone else who's also a fan. But this close to home?? UNBELIEVABLE!

Christian Rock
For too long has rock/metal music been associated with the negative side of life. Of course with bands such as Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC and almost all other 80's rock/metal bands living a lifestyle of "Sex, Drugs and Rock N' Roll", its not that hard to imagine.
Other mainstream bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Marilyn Manson and The Eagles even go as far as to incorporate satanic worship into their music.
But as of this day and age, a new breed of rock music enthusiasts have emerged. This being the Christian society. Many new mainstream bands such as Lifehouse, P.O.D. and Swtichfoot have considered themselves to be Christian Rock bands.
These are the bands who are out to clear the bad image of rock music. They oppose the lifestyle of "Sex, Drugs and Rock N' Roll" and instead promote good Christian moral values. Though some bands may have evangelical intentions, most bands are just Christian guys who share a love for rock music. An example of such bands are Creed, Evanescence and As I Lay Dying. They do not claim to be "Christian bands", but they openly profess their faith through their music. This does not necessarily mean that their music is spiritual or has direct connection to God or Jesus though of course they are heavily influenced by their faith.
"I'm not sure what the difference is between five Christians playing in a band and a Christian band. If you truly believe something, then it should affect every area of your life. All five of us are Christians. I believe that change should start with me first, and as a result, our lyrics do not come across very "preachy." Many of our songs are about life, struggles, mistakes, relationships and other issues that don't fit entirely in the spiritual category. However, all of these topics are written about through my perspective as a Christian." - Tim Lambesis, As I Lay Dying.
Therefore, for those of you looking for an alternative to the unhealthy negative image promoted by many rock/metal bands, these are some bands worth checking out :
Lifehouse
Creed
Alter Bridge
Fireflight
Anberlin
Switchfoot
Sonicflood
MxPx
P.O.D.
Underoath
Relient K
The more evangelical bands are Hillsong, Planetshakers, and Casting Crowns. These bands are of course more spiritual and have lyrics that directly worship God.
Bottom line is rock/metal music is but a genre that can be enjoyed by everyone and should not be associated to the dark side of life. I mean, why should the devil get all the good music?

It's Official!
Now, to officially officiate the official launch of my new official blog I would like to present to you the officially new love of my life:
A BRAND NEW iPhone BABY!!
Yes, people. Feast your eyes on my brand new toy!
Okay you can close your mouth now. No, seriously. Stop drooling!
Anyways, it's actually a present from my aunt in Hong Kong. She called up my mom about a week ago saying that she's in KL and she has an iPhone for me. My reaction was quite predictable. My joyful shrieks could be heard all the way down my lane. Which probably caused a little kid to end up constipated.
Well me and my sexy new baby are off to go and get to know each other better. Ahh we're gonna make sweeeet love tonight!
(Apologies for the lousy pictures. Photography was never really my thing)

I am back!
Hello World!
It has been a significant amount of time since I last indulged myself in the art of blogging. My absence in the online blogging community has caused many to suffer in silence as they lust for scenes from my contemplations. Thus, I have decided to fulfill that overflowing desire of those who find the need to scrounge off the lives of others, some of whom they have no affiliations with whatsoever.
Yeah right.
Cut the crap. I'm actually here cos I got bored of poking people on Facebook so decided to spend my time online doing something a little more productive such as telling the world that I had a chicken sandwich stuffed with raw broccoli and pork intestines for lunch.
So here I am, dedicated to adding a little funkyness to the lives of those who spend their days super poking their 15642 friends on Facebook. May all of you realize that half your friends actually hate you and the fact that you poke, pee and slap them every other minute.
Have a good day.

Robert James Hoffman lll
If you're a girl, you might know him as the hot guy who plays the lead character in Step Up 2: The Streets. If you're a guy, then you're probably gay.
Nah, I'm kidding. Awesome dancer, awesome actor and a HUGE influence. Enjoy.
